Use this widget from the CDC to determine your individual risk for having or developing diabetes. If you suspect you could be diabetic please let us know at your visit. We can order a simple blood test that helps determine if you are not diabetic, at risk for diabetes, or if you actually have diabetes.
Symptoms often go unnoticed however, some people with undiagnosed diabetes will find themselves hungry and thirsty and needing to use the bathroom more often than normal. When the feet begin to feel the affects of diabetes it may be in the form of some tingling, numbness, painful burning or other odd sensations usually about equal in both feet and often worse at night. Get checked out for any of these symptoms.
